As finishing progressed on the winery/tasting room, it became apparent that we had created a vicious echo situation that makes conversation a challenge. Because it is also a production space we are limited in our choices of furnishings and decor. And we are very limited on funds too.
The CMO/primary financier/interior decorator came up with a relatively cheap solution…purchase a bunch of pre stretched canvas and paint them modern style using the same wall colors. She started with this:
Then she did some of this…
Our resident Treble Maker got in on it too…
Then, the CMO acquired 15 yards of 1/2 inch felt to line the backs of each canvas for better sound dampening.
This is what they look like on the back. Once all 16 were complete, we had to figure out how to arrange them.
That worked out, Tim came back to help us hang everything. ..
We hung the final few pieces after Erwin finished paint touchups..
Voila! Art hanging is mostly done.
