Meet local author Kerry McDaniel Boenisch in Bells Up’s Tasting Room on Saturday, November 21

KerryHeadshotIt’s safe to say that if you were a local winegrowing or winemaking pioneer in the Red Hills of Dundee, Oregon in the 1970s, author Kerry McDaniel Boenisch has some dirt on you. (And quite possibly still on herself, since she worked alongside her parents who started the highly-regarded Torii Mor vineyards and winery at that time, too.)

Luckily for Oregon wine enthusiasts, Kerry is dishing the dirt on that period in the region’s history in her second book, Dirt + Vine = Wine, published earlier this year. In it, she recounts the stories of the friends and neighbors as they established their own mark on the winemaking world.

We are delighted to invite guests at Bells Up Winery’s Thanksgiving Open House on Saturday, November 21 to meet author Kerry McDaniel Boenisch in person from 1-4 p.m.

Kerry will be hanging out, selling and signing copies of her book (a perfect holiday gift for the Oregon wine lover!), and sharing a few stories. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to meet one of the Willamette Valley’s great storytelling voices… And, if we manage to get a little wine in her, she might even spill some of the tales that didn’t make it into print…

See you Saturday!
