Guests at Bells Up Winery’s first day of Thanksgiving Open House, a week ago Saturday, so enjoyed hearing Dundee author Kerry McDaniel Boenisch recount the stories of growing up among the pioneering winemakers and winegrowers in the region that we invited her to return—and she’s agreed!

We are delighted to invite guests at Bells Up Winery’s Thanksgiving Open House on Saturday, November 28 to meet author Kerry McDaniel Boenisch from 1-4 p.m.

Kerry will be hanging out, selling and signing copies of her second book, Dirt + Vine = Wine (a perfect holiday gift for the Oregon wine lover!), and sharing more stories. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to meet one of the Willamette Valley’s great storytelling voices… And, if last Saturday was any indication, once we manage to get a little wine in her Kerry DEFINITELY spills some of the truly entertaining tales that didn’t make it into print…

Want to know more about Kerry? It’s safe to say that if you were a local winegrowing or winemaking pioneer in the Red Hills of Dundee, Oregon in the 1970s, this local author has some dirt on you. (And quite possibly still on herself, since she worked alongside her parents who started the highly-regarded Torii Mor vineyards and winery at that time, too.)

Luckily for Oregon wine enthusiasts, Kerry is dishing the dirt on that period in the region’s history in her second book published earlier this year. In it, she recounts the stories of the friends and neighbors as they established their own mark on the winemaking world. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to meet her in person.

See you Saturday!
