NEWBERG (June 10, 2016) – Bells Up Winery has been chosen as the featured winery at the next Women of Willamette (WOW) event—Diana’s Garden Party—to be held Wednesday, June 29 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the garden of member Diana Yates in Sherwood, Oregon. The event is $20 for WOW members, and $30 for their guests.
The WOW organization offers women the opportunity to connect with other women to form personal and professional relationships. Events are held monthly at locations throughout the valley, giving WOW members and their guests an opportunity to build stronger connections while enjoying the beautiful surroundings, cuisine and wines that are unique to the valley; secondarily, the group aims to grow the businesses of its members and their communities. Sara, Bells Up’s Chief Marketing Officer and “money honey” has been a WOW member since 2012.
During the event, Bells Up winemaker and owner Dave Specter will be pouring three classically-styled Oregon wines:
- 2014 Rhapsody Pinot Blanc
- 2015 Prelude Rosé of Pinot Noir
- 2013 Titan Pinot Noir
Also that evening Big Ron Sabin will perform classic rock mixed with blues and country, and the Improvised Comedy Troupe will share “Improvarama.” The menu, catered by Trees Restaurant, includes champagne fruit salad, asian noodle salad, an arugula, prosciutto and melon salad, finger sandwiches and a meringue with berries for dessert.
