Nearly Sold-Out 2017 Prelude Rosé Favorably Reviewed by L.M. Archer

International fine wine writer, critic, judge and curator L.M. Archer has reviewed our first-ever estate wine, the 2017 Prelude Rosé of Pinot Noir! In her July 30, 2018 Hedonistic Taster column, Archer reviews several Willamette Valley submissions.

Here’s what she has to say about the 2017 Prelude…

Robe: Translucent, raspberry hue.

Nose:  Savory, white pepper and red fruit aromas.

Bouche:  Bright red fruits: red cherry, apple, currant notes; light body, bright acids, clean finish.

Former french-horn player and attorney turned award-winning micro-boutique winemaker Dave Specter named this wine for Franz Liszt’s “Symphonic Poem No. 3: Les Preludes.”

A versatile, lilting quaff suitable for a sweltering summer evening on the patio, yet savory enough to compliment a fall or winter meal over game or fowl.

Currently we have only a couple of cases left of this wine.

If you want any, we urge you to let us know by phone (503.537.1328) or email (info@bellsupwinery.com) as soon as possible.
