Ray Fister, creator and producer of Life Between The Vines — a podcast and video series designed to educate and entertain folks interested in wine at all levels (newbie to connoisseur) — asks each of his winemaker interviewees to define a wine term in a short segment he calls “Vino Lingo.”
When Ray visited us in April to record a podcast and video, he asked Dave to define the term “Batonnage,” which was perfect because this is something Dave does all the time, particularly with the white wines during fermentation.
