We were recently reminded that we participated in an interview for the Oregon Wine History Archive, conducted by Stephanie Hofmann (who has since become a dear friend) a couple of years ago (oops!).
In it, we talked about Dave’s career change, as well as about our first five years in Oregon—as this was recorded back in 2017. We also chatted about the Oregon wine industry and how much it’s changed since we first visited the area back in 2008 as vacationers, and again in the years since we moved here full time in June 2012.
About the Oregon Wine History Archive: The Oregon Wine History Archive at Linfield College was created to collect, preserve, share, and continue the narrative of Oregon wine. The growth of the Oregon wine industry extends from the farmers and winemakers to the marketers, scientists, innovators, and dreamers of the enterprise — all of whom are vital to the industry’s success. It is our aim to link the past, present, and future of the industry in hopes of sharing the story of Oregon wine.
