2013 Titan

bottle-titan-2013-333x500-vh

163 cases produced. $40

Named for Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 in D Major “Titan,” this classic Oregon pinot noir combines 1/3 each Chehalem Mountains Pommard with Yamhill-Carlton Dijon clones 115 and 777. Both micro-vineyards feature Willakenzie soil, but at different elevations. Aged 11 months in French oak, the composition highlights and balances the characteristics of each site.

NOSE: Pomegranate, lightly crisped caramel and warm toast.
PALATE: Clean, red fruit harmonizes with supple tannins, yielding a gentle finish.
