NEWBERG (June 1, 2016) — On Saturday, June 4, Bells Up Winery’s winemaker and owner David Specter will be pouring two wines at the 6th annual Rubies and Roses 2016 benefit ball. The black-tie fundraiser supports the programs of Chehalem Youth & Family Services (CYFS), particularly those focused on supporting children in the state of Oregon’s foster care system. The event will be held at the Chehalem Cultural Center from 5-10 p.m.
Bells Up’s 2014 Rhapsody Pinot Blanc and 2013 Titan Willamette Valley Pinot Noir will be poured. In addition to wine, the event features a wine and micro-brew reception, gourmet dinner prepared by Joel Palmer House, entertainment, live and silent auctions, raffle and dancing to live music from Hit Machine.
Although the event is nearly sold out, a few tickets remain. To reserve a $75 ticket, registration is available at the CYFS website, or by calling the CYFS office at 503-901-3665.
