Bells Up included in “Wine Lingo” feature story on WoodinvilleWineCountry.com website.

We were tickled to be quoted in an article on the Woodinville Wine Country website by Brittney Perreault (pictured above; photo courtesy of WoodinvilleWineCountry.com), senior producer of Northwest Wine Night TV, entitled “Challenging Wine Lingo Standards.” With our 2013 Titan Pinot Noir and 2014 Rhapsody Pinot Blanc having been featured on the show before, we’ve enjoyed hearing the reactions of their guests as they taste and describe our wines.

In her piece, Perreault notes that flavor descriptions can embody all five senses. And the descriptions themselves don’t have to be stuffy or pretentious. Our contribution?

Our friends from Bells Up Winery in Oregon said, “The insights from the panelists were really helpful and gave us some additional flavor and aroma feedback we hadn’t heard before. “Rhubarb-y-esque” is probably our favorite.” There’s nothing fancy about the word “Rhubarb-y-esque”, but it works!

Thanks for the inclusion!
