May you find balance in the New Year (us too!)
Holiday greetings after a 2017 of ups and downs… so the family portrait is totally appropriate (if not OSHA-compliant), right?
We are blessed to report that our micro-boutique, un-domaine winery exceeded all of our expectations this past year, with a new porch addition, fresh coat of paint, the stocking of our wines by three different boutique wine shops in Oregon, the first-ever harvest of our estate vineyard (2017 Prelude Rosé of Pinot Noir coming in April!), and selling out of nearly every wine we had in stock.
It was also a year when we saw the tragic passing of two friends in their early 40s. As the poster children for Confucius’ quote, “We all have two lives, and the second begins the moment we realize we only get one,” we’re so glad we took the leap five years ago and moved 2,500 miles from Cincinnati, Ohio to Newberg, Oregon to finally realize the dream that we hatched all the way back in 2008. Nine years never flew by so fast.
Thank you for your continued support. We are sincerely humbled by your faith in us and are blessed to have you along with us on this insane ride through life. Have a wonderful holiday season and a very merry New Year.
