The Singular Bells Up Wine Tasting…
Reserved Exclusively for You: Your Private, Winemaker-Hosted, Full-Sensory Tasting Experience Awaits
It is an honor and privilege to offer you one of the very few Winemaker-hosted wine tasting experiences in the Willamette Valley.
Reserved exclusively for one group at a time, Bells Up Winemaker Dave Specter will guide you on a full-sensory journey through our current releases.
Relaxed and unhurried, you’ll experience our micro-boutique wines, learn about the vintages and their composition, and tour the barrel room as you make your wine selections.
You’ll also gain insights into the two decades of life, business, and winemaking lessons that led Dave and Sara to move 2,500 miles to establish an un-domaine winery and vineyard on Chehalem Mountain.
And the view doesn’t suck either.
Frequently Asked Wine Tasting Questions…
When does Bells Up offer appointments?
ONLY three sessions are offered daily, by appointment, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. We host tastings seven days a week. With enough notice, we MAY be able to accommodate a different time. Please call 503.537.1328 to discuss the options.
How many people can attend a tasting?
Generally we limit the number of guests to six. Have more than six in your party? Call us at 503.537.1328 and we’ll figure out a way to make it work.
How do I book a wine tasting experience?
Tastings can ONLY be booked by calling the winery landline at 503.537.1328. We do not accept reservations by email, social media message, carrier pigeon, smoke signal, or any other communication methodology. To secure your reservation, a non-refundable deposit of $65 per guest must be paid in advance by credit card.
What are the tasting fees?
Tastings are $65 per person, waived with a three-bottle purchase per person. Sharing is not permitted.
How long are wine tastings?
Please allow up to 90 minutes for your group’s private session with Winemaker Dave.
Are children or dogs allowed?
Well-behaved children and up to two leashed dogs are welcome with advance notice. Please note, for their safety we do not allow either children or pets to roam in the winery buildings or vineyard.
Is food available for purchase, or can outside food be brought in?
We are not licensed for food preparation or service. Because we do not have employees to help clean the tasting spaces, we do not permit outside food.
Can guests consume a bottle or glass of wine at Bells Up?
We are not licensed for on-premise glass or bottle consumption; winemaker hosted wine tastings are our only offering.
