Annually, winemaker David Specter produces a limited edition vintage available exclusively to members of Bells Up’s Fanfare Club. 2018 Helios, the first bottling of the first planting of Seyval Blanc in the Willamette Valley (and only the second planting in Oregon) is 2019’s selection. Named for Carl Nielsen’s “Helios Overture, Opus 18,” the grapes were planted, nurtured and harvested by us on a 0.5-acre parcel of the Bells Up estate vineyard. *PLEASE NOTE: Due to the extremely limited quantity, only Fanfare Club members will be able to purchase 2018 Helios and are limited to two bottles, first come/first served.
NOSE: Clean and fresh with hints of spring meadow, lemon peel, pineapple rind, sunshine.
PALATE: Candied lemon zest, D’Anjou pear, stone fruit, medium intensity, bright, long finish.
