Our Pinot Blanc is back! 2017 Rhapsody is now available.

We are delighted to have Pinot Blanc back in our wine line-up with the 2017 Rhapsody. Sourced from Bieze Vineyards in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA, this is the furthest south we’ve ever traveled for grapes and we are thrilled to have them. Bottled on March 15, 2018, just 54 cases are available at $28 a bottle.

Our reviewers detected stone fruits, honey, lemon and crisp minerality on the nose. On the palate, they tasted Bartlett pear, green apple, lemon cucumber and honey with a balanced, full mouthfeel and long finish. It pairs amazingly well with both seafood (we had it with a citrus shrimp skewer over the weekend and it was perfect), and anything creamy or cheesy (think Alfredo sauce or a cheese plate).

Named for George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” this jazzy white wine was aged sur lie in stainless steel tanks for 6 months to produce a fuller-bodied wine. No malolactic fermentation allows crisp acidity, subtle minerality and spicy characteristics to take center stage. We can’t wait to share it with you.

2017 Rhapsody will be featured at our upcoming pre-Memorial Day weekend and Memorial Day weekend open houses, as well as is available for purchase and delivery in our spring shipments. Contact us today to reserve your bottles.
