FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEWBERG, OR (June 15, 2015) — On Wednesday, July 1, 2015—from 6:00–8:00 p.m.—Bells Up Winery will be featured at 503 Uncorked’s weekly Industry Night. The wine bar is located in Sherwood, Oregon’s historic Old Town district at 16079 SW Railroad Street. During the event, Bells Up’s winemaker and owner Dave Specter will pour complimentary tastings of three of the winery’s inaugural releases:
- 2014 Rhapsody Pinot Blanc
- 2014 Prelude Rosé of Pinot Noir
- 2013 Titan Pinot Noir
The three wines will also be available for purchase by the glass or bottle, with a special 15% discount on bottles purchased to take home. 503 Uncorked’s owner Deb Yannariello has primarily featured wines made in the 503 region of Oregon, paired with light fare.
“Our guests love Industry Night because it gives them a chance to learn more about different area wineries by personally mingling and chatting with winemakers like Dave,” Yannariello says. “My plan for 503 Uncorked was to create an atmosphere that enhances connections, including helping our patrons build relationships with local labels like Bells Up.”
As the Willamette Valley’s newest micro-boutique winery, Bells Up produces 400 cases annually. Specter specializes in handcrafted Oregon Pinot Noir from grapes sourced from micro-growers located on the northern side of the Willamette Valley. A small selection of other Oregon-grown and produced vintages is also offered.
Located in Newberg on Chehalem Mountain, Bells Up is housed in a newly renovated pole barn at 27895 Northeast Bell Road at the intersection of Zimri Drive. The winery is open by appointment with tastings priced $15 per person, deducted from a $75 purchase. For more information, please contact Dave Specter at info@bellsupwinery.com or 503.537.1328.
