BOOM! Wine Enthusiast Awards Two 90+ Scores for Bells Up Pinots

We rarely submit our wines for scoring by large publications. As a small, micro-boutique winery, most of the wines we make are so limited in quantity that they can’t be submitted. However, with the 2021 vintage, we were able to make just enough of these Pinot Noirs to send to Michael Alberty, Oregon Wine Reviewer for Wine Enthusiast for scoring—and we are thrilled with the results!

Two Bells Up Pinot Noirs received 90+ wine scores in the newest issue of Wine Enthusiast!

92 Points | 2021 Jupiter Pinot Noir

“This is the only Pinot Noir I know of that is named for Gustav Holst’s ‘The Planets’ orchestral suite and Symphony No. 41, ‘Jupiter’ by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Jupiter’s wet concrete, saline and mulberry aromas are a mineral-driven symphony. Brisk acidity and velvety tannins massage the wine’s tart cranberry and orange zest flavors. Pucker up Puccini, the Jupiter rises to a tangy crescendo.” — Wine Enthusiast Review, Michael Alberty

90 Points | 2021 Titan Pinot Noir

“This Pinot Noir should be named ‘Titan II,’ because its dark raspberry, earthy forest floor, thyme and sage aromas erupt from the glass like a Missile. Titan’s elegant, gentle mouthfeel is at ease with its boysenberry jam and black tea flavors. The wine is named for the Gustav Mahler symphony, so I’d recommend serving it with his favorite dish: apricot dumplings.” — Wine Enthusiast Review, Michael Alberty

Add 2021 Titan and 2021 Jupiter to your collection.

Give us a call to sample and collect these two Pinot Noirs in person. Not hyper local? If you’re sticking close to the PacNW this summer, we expect to have weather breaks that allow us to ship these high-scoring wines (and our other new releases) to you. Either way, give us a call at (503) 537–1328, and we’ll be happy to set some bottles aside.
